`--color=none` still colors unexecuted lines
Here's the output I get when I use --color=none
:
Observe that un-executed lines are still colored differently from executed lines.

They are intended to be distinct, but basically
--color=none
is not implemented yet (right now it just duplicates the behaviour of--color=base
). This is also why the README only mentions the--raw
option right now.The idea was/is for the
--raw
option to be largely unmodified output: no escape characters, no annotation characters inserted (when that is implemented), maybe even leaving the source lines untruncated (not resized to terminal width), possibly for outputting to a file, debugging the frontend, or for supporting a really terrible terminal. Besides just being a shorthand for turning off all formatting options, the--raw
command will also not be allowed with most other options (in contrast to--color=none
, which should work with most other options).Just for the purposes of getting a basic, almost 99% guaranteed working output for release, I only finished the
--raw
option, but left the output scaled to terminal width. It will be easy to make--color=none
output like how--raw
looks currently, and then I will close this issue, and update the README too. - Log in to comment
I notice there is a
--raw
option which truly does not color anything. Are--raw
and--color=none
meant to be distinct?
