Issue #26 resolved

Unicode is escaped on Py2, but not on Py3

I've got a problem that unicode strings are outputted with (esc) when running under Python 2.x, but under Python 3.x they are outputted directly as text, just look at that:

I'm wondering if that could be fixed somehow? Maybe having special case for (utf-8)?

I think if Cram consistently used bytes/unicode between Python 2 and 3, you shouldn't see this weird behavior. I suspect that'll require dropping support for older versions of 2.x.

I'll take a look and see what I can do.

I've fixed this in cd9d047. This'll go out with a 0.7 release sometime this week.

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the long delay in getting around to addressing this issue.
