Book Locator

This is a Django web application that creates a web service for locating items in a library based on a Library of Congress call number.

  • Example. Click on the location in the far left cell of the holdings table to view a map.

Software used

Library-Callnumber-LC, which converts incoming call numbers to a normalized string. It's included here for convenience.

It should be possible to deploy this application with minimal modifications on either Google App Engine or Heroku. This could be quite helpful for testing the software and eliminates the need of running the application from a local server.
