Underwater scenes should be rendered differently from normal aerial rendering.

    Well, thinking about this, it seems to be a broad topic. Rendering underwater scenes may use one or several of the following techniques, whose list may not be complete and who may be useful above water as well:

    - floating particles for e.g. sand, dirt or bubbles - "fog" - screen-buffer post-processing effects
