Issue #4 open

Search for images

Ignacy Sokołowski
created an issue

It's difficult to browse images, when you have 100 of it or more. It would be much easier, if you could create folders.

Sorry for my English, it's not my native language.

Hmm. I've used django-adminfiles with many images and find the browsing still reasonable, as long as I know how the images are ordered. I often use adminfiles with very non-technical users, and I've found they have much less tendency to get confused and "lose" things in the flat UI than in folder-based systems (i.e. their own OS). I'm concerned that adding folders will add a lot of complexity both to the implementation and the UI.

I think I'd be more inclined to add a search/filter to the image selection interface (that would search image file names as well as title and description). Do you think that would satisfy your use case as well?

Setting this to open, as I think _some_ better browsing option for large image sets is reasonable; just not sure folders is the right answer.
