Issue #187 invalid

IPv6 support

Anonymous avatarAnonymous created an issue

Radiotray does not seem to have IPv6 support. When connecting to a hostname, only IPv4 is tried, IPv6 is ignored.

Steps to reproduce: - Configure a radio with IPv6 hostname (with bracket notation) OR Configure a radio with hostname which only resolves to IPv6, not IPv4 - Connect to radio

Observation: - Radiotray does not connect

Expected result: - Radiotray connects to radio with IPv6-only hostname or IPv6-address.

Replacing the IPv6-only hostname with IPv4/IPv6-hostname makes it work again, but checking with tcpdump shows that it connects over IPv4.

Using version 0.7.3 (Debian package 0.7.3-1)
