I am currently tinkering with my very large architecture and a lot of the time I am using other smaller architectures to test certain mechanisms or tune certain fields, because my big architecture is awfully slow, when running stable.
One step into the dirction of managing big architectures would be feature to disable or enable certain steps, so that get completly ignored by the simulation framework, but are still visibly there and can be reactivated once they are needed again. It should be possible to toggle a group of activated steps between enabled and not enabled by just selecting them and pressing a hotkey or using right click.
I have not yet thought through this and the amount of work it would take to implement such a feature, but for me it would certainly be handy.
What do you think?
