Fixing the test requires using an identity_dict instead of a real dict here, because the hash of _objs changes.

More in-progress. Test failure in test_gc that I still don't understand.

Tentatively fix the original problem by bumping 'large_objects' a lot. Now 256KB (512KB on 64-bit) objects should fit in the nursery.

Trying to have large objects (more than a few KBs) also start as young objects. Step 1: remove the difference between large_object and large_object_gcptrs.

Make the "default" argument of getname() optional. Remove usage of the '?' at least in the interpreter/ and the objspace/ directories.

Remove the call_function hook method on space, otherwise it will keep being called on future test runs.

Update package.py for windows builds. win32build.py is a handy script that does all the job: translate and create zip files, for all (supported) flavors of pypy.

Skip this test if os.mknod() always requires being root, as it seems to be the case e.g. on Mac OS X.

Re-fix for a test that failed today in rlib/rsre/. This is an attempt at fixing it better than 2791ad5f8842. Now fully records the read of the attribute, instead of special-casing only None (missing attribute).

Change make_args_key() to return a non-resizable list (and check it in optimizeutil.py), and optimize it a bit to remove an extra dict lookup. This may be kind of important, because make_args_key() seems to take 1/5th of the total time spent optimizing.

Fix for issue613. I forgot some of the functions when I fixed the very same problem yesterday.

Note that a .h file in module/cpyext also needs to contain the pypy version number.
Armin Rigo
Mention it here too.

cpyext does not work on Mac OS X. Document it as such and do the release anyway.

* Reformat to a suitable e-mail width. * Move sys.setrecursionlimit() earlier.
Antonio Cuni
put ronny first, and use the actual name because the capitalized Antocuni is really ugly :-)
