the chemmacros bundle

the chemmacros bundle provides the basic support for writing chemistry documents with LaTeX2e.

This includes:

  • a lot of nomenclature commands for those longish compound names
  • pH, pKa, oxidation numbers, formal charges...
  • redox reactions
  • thermodynamics
  • indicators for the state of aggregation
  • newman projections
  • orbitals
  • typesetting chemical formulae and reactions
  • GHS H & P statements (in English, German and Italian)

Three points are hopefully achieved:

  • IUPAC conformity
  • intuitive usage
  • customizability

You can get chemmacros from CTAN, it is also part of TeX Live and MikTeX.

Tip: Use camelCasing e.g. ProjME to search for ProjectModifiedEvent.java.
Tip: Filter by extension type e.g. /repo .js to search for all .js files in the /repo directory.
Tip: Separate your search with spaces e.g. /ssh pom.xml to search for src/ssh/pom.xml.
Tip: Use ↑ and ↓ arrow keys to navigate and return to view the file.
Tip: You can also navigate files with Ctrl+j (next) and Ctrl+k (previous) and view the file with Ctrl+o.
