On this page http://docs.cherrypy.org/stable/concepts/basics.html the code example that reads:

import cherrypy

class HelloWorld:
    def index(self):
        return "Hello world!"
    index.exposed = True

cherrypy.quickstart(HelloWorld())

Should read:

import cherrypy
#
#
class HelloWorld(object):
    def index(self):
        return "Hello world!"
    index.exposed = True

cherrypy.quickstart(HelloWorld())

(replace the # with newlines, bitbucket won't let me post double newlines) (added a newline between import and class statement according to PEP8, added (object) in HelloWorld class definition)
