raw2cdng has stopped working

Was running some EOS 5D Mk II 1856x928 23.976fps through software converting to 16Bit Maximised creating a subfolder in source and PC froze (no BSOD, just straight to black and reboot).

Any time now i try and run software i get this detail

Going to try an uninstall and reinstall.

Hi, Further to my comment above (not logged in, sorry), i deleted the exe i normally run and its folder and ran a fresh download straight from the extracted zip file and get the same error.

As the software is not installed, i am not sure what remnant has been left behind from the crash which is stopping it run.

try: (a) running under admin privileges? (b) delete raw2cdng2.settings.json in /Users/[user]/AppData/Roaming

Hi, Running as admin made no effect. Deleting the file did work and i was above to complete some conversions successfully however during one conversion i got a new error:

i see a IO-Exception. Means, the source-raw is faulty or the destination does problems. Please check first, if the source file is ok or corrupt. maybe you try with the original raw2dng from magiclantern - tell me if it worked.

Feeling silly... I do the MLV conversions and subsequent editing on a PCIeSSD which is only 256Gb... i see i have 1.18Mb free!

I think that will be the issue! :)

Yes, thanks - it was my baby daughters first Easter so theirs several clips. Once converted it all goes to mirrored HDD's but i find the conversion quicker on the SSD.
