packet peeper "opens" but no windos is displayed

Using OS X 10.9.2 on MacBook Pro 9.1 (Mid-2012). Opening packet peeper places an icon in the dock but no window is revealed and no window is available in "Show All Windows" when secondary clicking on the dock icon.

Hi Sean, you need to select File -> New Capture, then select the network interface you want to capture on (probably en0 for wired or en1 for wireless). Then click start and the capture session will begin.
