One plug-in per Ambisonics-Order.

Input

The number of input signals equals to the number of ambisonics channels of the order of the plug-in.

Requirements:

• ACN channel order Ambisonic Channels
• SN3D normalization

Note: Coordinate system of type Navigation is assumed (Front = +X, Right = +Y, Top = +Z). The direction of the Y-axis can optionally be flipped. (equals to azimuth increase counterclockwise instead of clockwise)

Output

• The number of processed output channels corresponds to the number of defined speakers in the plug-in.
• A maximum of 32 channels is supported.

AmbiDecoder Viewing-Layers

• Edit mode: Shows the speaker placements.
• Standard mode: Shows all movements and placements from all connected AmbiEncoder-Plugin.

Radar Interaction

• Zoom-In = shift and click
• Zoom-out = shift & alt and click
• Move the Radar View = shift and drag with the mouse

Speakers

• Edit mode Presets

  Individual speaker coordinates [XYZ] and [AED] Distance metered from the center of the room/hall [meters]

• Delay compensation [ms]

  automatic Delay compensation for the speaker positions in milliseconds

• Speaker audio tester

  An individual gain for each speaker can be applied.

  Gain [dB] adjustment

  Generator with white noise for each channels

  Test all speakers sends a white noise signal [clockwise] to the speakers.

Ambisonic channels

• Distance scaler

  Defines the room length in meters

• Channel weights

  The weighting of ambisonics channels is based on the order of the channels. calculate in phase calculates the in-phase coefficients. reset to basic resets all channel weightings to 1.

• Flip direktions

  Flips the Y-axis. [Left / Right]

OSC

• Port

  Receive OSC messages from AmbiEncoder Plugin from defined OSC-Port. (default: 50000)

• Timeout [ms]

  Timeout interval between the OSC-messages. (default: 50 ms)
