Path issue in DB generation

When trying to generate a DB, I found that when choosing a directory the program does not save the file on the chosen path. Instead, it saves in in /home and the chosen path is used as the file name. I observed that it was using \ (backslashes) instead of / (forward slashes) so this might be a windows vs linux issue. Investigating a bit further I also observed that the only slash that’s backwards is the last of the path.
