Inserting a while loop in a condition results in an infinite sequence

In test “Test Executive\Tests\Test Test Exec Ref Execution\TestExecution_ConditionalBranch_True_WhileLoop.vi” I’m nesting a while loop in a case statement. But the case statement seems to execute over and over. Something is really odd.
