= Required packages and Django apps =

The following packages must be installed in order to use this project.
Where applicable, installation method is noted.

 * GeoDjango (


 * django-registration (

  Install: `easy_install django-registration`

 * django-profiles (
  Install: `easy_install django-profiles`

 * sorl-thumbnail (
  Install: `easy_install sorl-thumbnail`

 * django-tagging (

  Install: `easy_install django-tagging`

 * django-paypal (

  Install: `easy_install django-paypal`

 * django-gatekeeper (

  Local version included.  Once trunk is updated to work with Django
  1.2, we'll start using: `easy_install django-gatekeeper`

 * Python imaging library (

  Install: `apt-get install python-imaging`

= Database configuration = 

You must create a spatial database per the instructions in the
GeoDjango installation instructions.  You should create a user for
that database (note that on some OS's, to give this user access to the
database, you must edit the config file pg_hba.conf) and put the
user's authentication info in the file.
