Automatic record files on disk after X minutes

Issue #1169 closed
Itichi Bo created an issue

Hi,

It would be really nice if by default after every X minutes, the recording call is saved on disk and another file is created.

I sometime (more and more often) have corrupted files, I would really like to avoid losing everything, but only a few minutes.

we should have a lot of smaller files such as: file_date_1.3gpp # 5 minutes file_date_2.3gpp # 5 minutes file_date_3.3gpp # 5 minutes file_date_4.3gpp # 3 minutes

instead of: file_date.3gpp # 18 minutes

Thanks a lot!

Calls are directly saved but you might not be able to recover them if an app or your phone kills ACR.

Make sure you are not using and memory cleaning apps and all ACR notifications enabled

I don't have memory cleaning apps and all ACR notifications are enabled.. however when I reach 20% my phone goes to "power saving" mode automatically and it is impossible to turn that down!

ACR is set to : "not optimized", thus even if the power saving is enabled, it should not put ACR in sleep mode.

I even use AndSY app to autostart ACR at boot (otherwise, it won't)

I don't know what else I can do..

There is no way for ACR to stop during a call unless it has been stopped. I am not sure what is AndSY but try removing it.

If I remove it, ACR: 1) do not start at boot time, 2) is automatically shut down when the saving mode is activated

I can try, but I don't think it is the solution.

EDIT: I just find that after the android update, there is a new application in my phone... Phone assist from Wiko.. it is a sort of memory cleaning app :( I have disabled it, we'll see.

At least, ACR now start with the phone

I cannot provide a solution because I don;t have access to your phone. I can only guess. What you experience doe not happen on its own or by ACR.
