So the s9/+ has been resolved?
-
@eross1 yes
-
reporter We believe so
-
@copluk which are the right parameters in Audio source and Format registration for a better success with S9+ exynos version? Thanks
-
reporter m4a and mic should work fine
-
congratulation. good work :)
-
All good...working
-
Congratulation! On my s9 works!
-
Working on my S9+ ... good job... congrats....
-
Very good, I am so happy, everything is work on my S9 +, very good work, thank you very much ....
-
Works great and works well.
-
Thank you, finally the program is working correctly.Samsung Galaxy S8+ European version exynos processor.Audio source m4a,Format registration mic.
-
I wish to say a very big thank you to Copluk who has initiated this forum for the ACR issue related to Galaxy S9 plus. The problem of ACR on the phone has now been finally settled and I am really glad and appreciate the great work done by all the people involed in it. Congratulations to all.
-
I stopped tracking this issue since Samsung refused to engage and I returned my S9 and bought more accessories for my note 4. Firstly it appears congratulations are in order Secondly, disappointingly my provider has returned my S9, saying that a third party app is not valid reason to return Now I have a crucial question:, what is the likelihood that Samsung will find a way to block recording again and we are back to square 1?
-
reporter It is very possible that call recording might stop in the future. It is really a constant struggle.
-
Some manufacturers such as Prestigio have implemented pre-installed call recording. Some may have too (am keeping Chinese in mind). Too sweet a feature to neglect.
After the latest update my Note 8 works like a charm, settings are Voice Communication, 5 out 2 in.
-
Is there also a way to record Whatsapp phone calls with ACR ?

Anyone try ACR with the latest S9+ firmware update G965FXXU1BRE5 / G965FOXM1BRE3 / G965FXXU1BRE3 ?
-
I have the S8+ on T-Mobile and I rarely, if ever have any recording issues.
-
@mvjunkie Do you have the May 2018 update ?
-
@eross1 I literally just installed it 5 minutes ago. Up until then ACR has been working fine for me.
-
reporter US version and international version are different devices with different firmwares
-
I installed the G965FXXU1BRE5 / G965FOXM1BRE3 / G965FXXU1BRE3 update on S9+. The update provides the built-in recording of the phone. You can choose automatic or manual recording, and wether to save on local storage or SD card. However, if you use a third party app like ACR, the internal program does not work.
-
reporter Which country eross1?
-
Israel
-
I also installed the G965FXXU1BRE5/G965FOXM1BRE3/G965FXXU1BRE3 update on S9 +. Тhe built-in recording does not work when connecting Bluetooth in car
-
Czech Republic, new firmware update, native call recording doesn't work, ACR works perfectly. FW Version: G965FXXU1BRE5 / G965FOXM1BRE3 / G965FXXU1BRE3
-
reporter @newborecDoe it have call record button? What is the firmware version?
-
@copluk: no, we don't have button. But they enabled third party call recording, because your app works great now. Before this update I heard only my side. FW version I added to previous comment. Settings in ACR: I chose this for Samsung with Android 8
-
reporter No they did not. We have found a workaround. ACR works fine but not because Samsung changed anything
-
@copluk: really? I can only thank to you very much for your care about us!

My Note 8 Snapdragon version works well, occasionally dropping the other side - maybe 1 in 6 calls

Is the app working for Samsung S9+ plus wifi calling?
-
reporter <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> </head> <body text="#000000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> ACR has no issue on S9+. Unfortunately, no call recording app can record Wi-Fi calls or VOIP calls made with WhatsApp, Viber etc. It is technically impossible. <p style="-qt-paragraph-type:empty; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;"><br> </p> </body> </html>

Thanks for the quick response. I'm actually using WiFi calling through my router to ATT's network. So it's just ATT, with WiFi calling enabled. No third party apps. I'm guessing it's the same issue.
-
reporter Yes. Please note may reply says: "Wi-Fi calls or..."
