Not recording while on speaker / Samsung S8 plus

Hi there, Does the app not record the other person speaking while using speaker phone? Is there ANY possible way to get that side of the conversation? I really need something that I THOUGHT WAS BEING RECORDED last night. Not happy! 2nd major issue in the last 10 days. I use this for my business & placing orders (after I get done driving since I can't write things down while driving). ANY HELP is much appreciated !! Thank You !!!
