Recorded call but no sound

I recorded a very important call on acr and it shows that it is a 25 minute long recording, yet when I try to play it back, there is no sound, even if I turn volume to the max, or try to listen on different devices. Is there a way to recover it or to prevent this in the future. Very important!! My phone is Google pixel, other phone was iPhone. Please help!!

Unfortunately it cannot be recovered. Nexus and Pixel phones do not support call recording. This will be same with all call recording apps and there is nothing we can do to fix it. You need to set recording format to 3GP, audio source to MIC under ACR settings and enable loud speaker while on a call
