There is an issue with Google Drive SDK we use to connect to Google Drive from ACR. This issue is not related to ACR and we have reported it to Google but no action has been taken on it yet.
What you could do?
- Creating a new Google account just for ACR seems to solve the issue.
- You can also try disconnecting ACR, reboot your phone and re-connecting it to Google Drive.
Why does this happen?
When you link ACR to Google Drive, it requests the recording folder information when it starts to upload your recordings. This is usually a quick task. However, it takes a very long time or time outs once issue started. Google Drive SDK takes long time to locate the ACR folder.
The issue occurs when user starts to use just about more than 1.2 or 1.5 GB space on their Google Drive. Space could be used by any document and not necessarily by ACR recordings. Please note that it is not about how much free space there is but how much space is used.
