Activity Pictures don't appear on Safari

The background pictures for activities don't appear when using Safari. For example, instead of seeing the image with 2 people talking in the 'Find my Buddy' activity, I just see the stock purple/blue background (as if no image is set for the event). All other images appear normally (e.g. photos taken during activities). The problem was seen on different macs and an iPad.
