Make this repository public

Issue #15 resolved
Jelmer van der Linde created an issue

Students keep asking me whether the code of the website is somewhere available.

Personally, I really like the idea of this code being out in the open (under the right license) so people can learn a bit from it (how to do some things and how not to do most things) and can find bugs or make their own suggestions for improvements.

What needs to be done:

  • Check whether there are no passwords in the repository (and otherwise change them)
  • Fix most obvious hacks and leaks in the website
I think I've got this one covered.
  • Put a license on the code
Who wrote it initially anyway? And if we are allowed (i.e. the code is owned by Cover) what license would allow people to contribute but not some other company or association to blatantly copy the whole thing and put a different logo on it?
