Grading before due date
If a Teacher accidentally grades one of the groups before the due date, it prevented others in the group from submitting. There doesn’t seem to be a way of retracting the grade to allow submissions to continue. Perhaps prevent grading before the due date with suitable warnings would prevent this occurring?

reporter Hi Amanda, we’ve just downloaded 2.3.1 to our 3.9 server but I am still able to add a grade before the due date. Could you confirm this is available in the version we have applied? I can confirm that #60: Display of criteria scoring type is resolved.
Thanks, Stephen

Hi Stephen,
You should still be able to add the due date but now a warning appears.

reporter Apologies for misunderstanding Amanda. Here is a video showing a grade being entered before the due date, then logging in as a student and unable to make a submission due to the grade. Hope that helps clarify what I am referring to.

Ah. I overlooked entering the grade in that screen. I added the warning to the individual group grading page.

I’ve experienced a similar issue to Stephen, and the newly-added warning is certainly very helpful in reminding teachers.
I’m wondering if it might please be possible to suggest that if the ‘Group grade out of 100’ field is not empty (i.e. already has values submitted) then a ‘Clear grade' button might appear alongside it? That way, if teachers ignore/fail to spot the warning, at least there would be an 'undo’ mechanism that gives an opportunity to re-open the assignment so that students can submit their peer reviews.
Thanks for mantaining such a useful plug-in!
