Navbar spills on forum search

Issue #177 resolved
Jeremy Hopkins created an issue

When forum search is enabled in navbar it drops to the second line when in fixed width with lots of items used.

One work around could be to hide tools and help links when in forums.

I think it maybe better move the editing button down above the blocks, or adding an option to choose the position. If you are not using all options in the navbar or fix your site to full screen then there is no issue with the current position, its only in fixed width and a full navbar that there is an issue.

I don't see an easy solution. With 2 tools menus looks good but more menus will break the navbar. At least in my screen with 1280px width.

But the same problem rise when you are in the course page and the editing button is displayed. Then you probably could add 2 more but will break the navbar again.

The easiest way is to limit the tool menus to 2.

I dont think you would ever use two tools menus, the reason there are two in the admin settings is to present different links to different user types. The same applies to the top menus, you would never show all ten, in our case we have four link lists for different faculties, each user only sees one based on a custom profile field. It will make more sense when I have documented it!

I have tried various options here, collapsing the zoome links is not reliable as it does not reload the page which we would need to detect whether we were in a forum. I tried moving the position but that didnt work. I am going to add an option to hide tools and help in forums for now, at least that gives a work around.

Longer term I think the position of those buttons may need to be re-considered, another issue being if you customise my home and two buttons appear.
