Limit to the number of courses under the My Courses drop-down?
Hello,
I seem to only be getting a maximum of 10 courses under the My Courses drop-down but with the Essential theme I get the full 12. Is there a limit somewhere in the theme that I need to change?
Thanks.

reporter Hello,
I just wanted to confirm that this means that with Adaptable we will only be able to see a maximum of 10 courses under the "My courses" drop-down at this time?
Thank you.

No we can change that number and add a setting for it. I also want to look at adding sub sections to that menu. Working on the menus is quite high on my list as its someting we need for our own sites and would hope to have some improvements to test in the coming days.

reporter Thank you for your prompt reply.
Looking forward to the updates.
I'm willing to assist with testing if need be. Just let me know when it's ready.

Hi Jeremy, Any update on this proposal? We'd love to have all enrolled courses available in the drop-down menu by the start of the new academic year in September, or we might have to stay on our old theme... Thanks, Crystal

New features will be included in future releases. Next will include only bug fixes.

In case anyone else is having this problem, I realised it's not actually an Adaptable theme issue.
The maximum number of courses available can be set from Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Blocks > Course overview. Set to 0 to show all courses, and force on all users. Worked for me on Moodle 3.04.
On the Essential theme, these settings are apparently overridden (hence why I didn't know about them...). We have a clone of our site which is still on Essential. It's set to show only 10, but more than 10 courses appear in the drop-down without a problem.
Thanks for the quick response and sorry for any trouble :)
