The setting searchboxpaddingtop does not faciliate easy positioning of the search box. It would be better to have one setting searchboxpadding with a default value of:

0px 18px 0px 0px

It maybe worth adding something to lang pack about "top, right, bottom, left"...

Fix ~~#742~~. Use searchboxpadding (rename previous searchboxpaddingtop) setting for padding of search box.
