Get rid of CoffeeScript

I am getting more and more annoyed with CoffeeScript. Check out this bug -- a mistake in indentation made a difference in the compiled code and introduced a bug.

Really, the only thing that CoffeeScript brings to the table is different syntax, and it sucks. I would like to eventually replace CoffeeScript with something else. We do not have a ton of it, so it should be doable.
