Fire converts markdown images to links

I just tried to embed a picture in my review to a student like so:

![kek](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/47/PNG_transparency_demonstration_1.png)

But instead of a picture, the preview shows me a link with caption “kek”.

Is this intended behaviour or a bug?

Ok, I figured out that images are filtered out for privacy reasons.
