Add a tab that shows a diff of the latest submission with the most recent reviewed one.

    Would be extremely useful. Seems like a lot of work, though. What if submission is one archive file? Would need to decompress and calculate diffs (what if previous submission wasn't in the archive? need to cover that too).

    I wouldn't bother with diffing archives.

    But there is some alternative solutions:

    • decompress archive on upload and store the files instead of the archive
    • allow the teacher to select which file types are allowed, so she can disallow archives if there is no good reason to use them

    Both would have the nice advantage that you wouldn't get archives in archives when downloading all submissions.
