Can you describe how you encountered this error? Is the error causing you any problems? That _codec3 module is not intended to be imported on Python 2.x, as that's the Python 3 implementation.

  2. cthedot

tried it on current code (on Win64, Py 2.5.4) and does not seem to happen. As Jason pointed out _code3 should not be imported in Python 2.5 (or any 2.x) anyway.

Seems same issue here. This is debian 5
