Furnace Facing issue

I made a custom furnace that I want to only ever face upwards. The problem is that even though I disable the side facing ability it still can be placed facing to the side.

canFaceTop = true; canFaceSides = false;

For a furnace this coding doesn't seem to work. Thank you for this mod.
