Request: Access to new block type?

If possible: It would be useful to have access to that post/pole shape you get when you place a single fence in a location with nothing next to it as a block type. I could see it being used as ropes, chains, poles, etc without it suddenly becoming a fence if another is placed next to it. This sounds impossible, but I'm not code oriented so I couldn't say. I am an artist however, and I would happily donate a rope, chain, and iron pole textures (or other textures) to help make the request more tempting :)
