Kissanime not working

Hi, I can watch kissanime videos on my phone on both players but I can't download or watch them with the app, newest version (I also tried the previous 3 versions, didn't work). Got Android 7.0

1. Does the episode has the server "KissAnime" ? It doesn't work with openload and beta.
2. When you say "both players", do you mean the server (kissanime, openload or beta) or the player (html5 or flash). Flash is not supported anymore on android so I think that you meant server.
3. If the episode has Server "KissAnime" + Player "HTML5 " + Quality selector, could you save the webpage and sent it to me. It seems that kissanime doesn't use the same protection for everybody.

Ok, so let's take this one: http://kissanime.ru/Anime/Gabriel-DropOut/Episode-012?id=135193 It works with Openload and Kissanime HTML5 on my smartphone with Chrome, but it says "video not found. dead link?" when i try to watch it with the app and "No video found for "http://kissanime.ru/Anime/Gabriel-DropOut/Episode-012?id=135193" in the queue trying to download it.

Also, I read in some patch notes that you changed the server to kissanime.io? I read on reddit that it's a fake site a few months ago.

1. I can download "Grabriel dropout episode 12" with AnimeDLR 1.14.0 and 1.14.3. My only conclusion is that the video urls are not encrypted the same way for you and me. See point 3 of my previous comment.

2. There are 2 kissanimes in the app KissAnime (official) and KissAnime.io. I know that it's a copy of the original and people have concerns about it (phishing, malware).

Hm... kissanime.io works for me as source, but it says anime8.me in the top left corner and not kissanime... but if you say, it really is just a copy, i'll take your word for it. thanks.

I meant it's a copy of the layout but its owned by other people. If you go to kissanime.io or kissanime.ru, the difference is not blatant. When you say you see anime8.me, I assume it's in the video. I don't think that kissanime.io is uploading its video, it's just linking to video uploaded by kissanime and other websites.

KissAnime.ru requires a VPN for their web html content, for example Google Data Saver extension for Chrome. This may be a reason why we can't get KissAnime.ru content via the app depending on VPN connection.
