9Cartoon used to work before the new update now nothing will play. Will you be able to fix it?

    The website was updated and the app didn't work anymore with 9cartoon. It was fixed in v1.9.0. I tested some episodes and it can play the videos. Could you give me some series and episodes that do not work ?

    It's mostly all the episodes of Hey Arnold and Batman the animated series. It's some random ones that worked with the 1.8.1 update but now it doesn't

    I tried a few episodes of "Hey Arnold! (1996-2004)" (season 1 and season 5) and they were playing. Tried the movie as well and it was ok. "Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995)", I tried a few episodes of season 1 and 4 and they were playing.

    Are you sure that you are using AnimeDLR 1.9.0 ? What's the problem ? Do you have a "Dead link" message, nothing happened when you select an episode or the player start but said that it couldn't play the video.

    Yup I downloaded the latest update. When I click on the episode for example Season 1 episode 11 of Hey Arnold it says "video not found. Dead link?" It won't even let me choose a player or anything.

    It's weird because it works on my old phone but not on my current phone. It used to work before this update.

    I tried "Season 1 Episode 11 - Arnold's Christmas" on kitkat, marshmallow and nougat and it works.

    On your old phone, were you connected in wifi or data ? What's the version of android used ? Same questions for your new phone.

    My old phone was connected to my hotspot of my current phone and my current phone is a Samsung Galaxy Prime and my old phone was a Huawei. I don't know if I have to factory reset or is it some kind of bug with the Galaxy phones.

    I honestly don't know what to do. It just won't work for I tried clearing the data the cache I re-downloaded the app numerous times and I get the same message.

    I uninstalled 1.9.0 and installed 1.8.1, I got the dead link message. Are your sure that the app was installed after you downloaded it ?

    If you open the drawer menu in the app, do you see "AnimeDLR v1.9.0" in the banner of the menu ?

    It says 1.9.0 on the banner of the menu I also tried it with a free trial of Xfinity WiFi and it worked like a charm but it doesn't seem to work using my 4G

    Did you tried this on your new phone (4G):

    • open the series in the app
    • press the blue button source and select a browser
    • select the episode to play in the browser

    Can you play the video ?

    Thank you a VPN fixed the problem but will it always have to use a VPN or will I get unblocked soon?

    The episode is hosted on google video (picasa). If your internet connection is censored or if google geoblock your country (I see my IP in the url), you don't have another choice.
