Improve online reader suggestions!

Hello cylonu87 i read the earlier proposal for online reader and i would like to say that please add option for vertical and horizontal reading in settings for online reader as webtoons requires vertical reader as it is a single strip comic and not originally divided in pages! Also plz add that the pages start to load from the page user jumps to instead of beginning as it will save bandwidth from being wasted. Also plz add rge function that pages goto bar in bottom and page no. Displayed are hidden when touched the screen and show when user touches screen again! Thank u !

    I'd like to piggyback onto this thread and ask a few questions. I want to start off by saying that it doesn't seem like you are using webview for viewing the images, if not is it possible to add an option to utilize that?

    I think it provides a smooth experience and transitions I am used to. Alternatives feel clunky and lessen the user experience for me.

    Lastly can you add the option for when viewing chapters page by page, change the background color to true black for those with amoled devices.

    • the current online reader is using a single webview to view all pages. The html code is something like that:

    <html><body><img src="..."><img src="..."><img src="..."><img src="...">...</body></html>

    • Is the background the area of the screen outside the image ? So something like the option night mode but without altering the image colors.

    Currently the online reader is awesome. Really smooth and no problems there. Although I wish the online reader had a read page by page option. I guess I should've stated before that I was talking about reading the downloaded chapters (offline reader).
