Still got banned even I only downloaded about 10 chapters, is thumbnail downloading/bookmark check caused it?

yeah, it's directly from mangadex, got IP banned

Mangadex said the trigger is 600 images per 600 seconds, more than that got banned. But I only succeeded to download about 3 of 10 chapters, and the rest got error since I got banned. Idk what triggered it, from my guess it's between bookmark check/thumbnail.

I don't know if it's only the images or if the html pages could trigger the ban. I rebuilt an new "beta 12" with a modification to reduce the number of requests to download the covers. Now, in the list of series/latest/bookmarks (mangadex series only), MangaDLR will download the images directly without downloading the series page (it will generate the url http://mangadex.org/images/manga/xxx.jpg). If it fails to download the image, like before the app will download the page, search the img tag to find the cover. In my test, the covers are downloaded faster that way. If the web pages are included and could trigger the ban, it should help.

It's fine for now, haven't tried to download more than 5 chapters per 10m lol.

Some changes in 6.0.0 Beta 13. I hope it doesn't happen again.

If I browse the list of series, it downloads hundred of thumbnails and i'm not banned. If you open mangadex in a browser, do you have a message ? Can you see if you are banned by mangadex or cloudflare. If it's cloudflare, maybe you have a captcha to resolve to access temporarily the website.
