automatic updates

would it be possible to have Daikatana check for updates automatically when it is launched so that way everyone has the same version.

It is possible; but we haven't really discussed doing this yet considering that the community is very tiny.

Currently we feel that it might be unnecessary given the small community and that people know to come here, check dknews, or the DKMPA steam page for any new updates.

However, we may revisit this again in the future with alerting the user that a new build is available.
