Resolution change locked me out of the game, can't change it back

Hey guys,

I installed Daikatana 1.3, but as I was going through the options, I fiddled around with the resolution settings in the in-game menu to see which ones I could use, and I selected one my computer obviously doesn't support. Now I'm locked out of the game and I can't figure out how to change the settings out of game. This is likely just down to my own foolishness, but I could use some guidance. Is there a command on the dedicated console that can fix this? Please help.

Go to your Documents Folder. Open up My Games → Daikatana → Data → current.cfg. Find the line with r_mode. Change the value to 1. If it still doesn’t work you can delete the current.cfg and the game will generate a new config file.

I’m the same guy who posted the issue but I had to create an account in order to reply. Hope there’s no confusion.

I tried your suggestion and at first I thought it hadn’t worked, but I had used the wrong config file. Hence why I deleted my original reply. The game totally works now, so thank you very much for your help working around my stupidity. I highly appreciate it.
