When player picks up Ripgun ammo, message appears as "You acquired the Slugs", suggesting that the ammo is for the Slugger.

This is likely due to the Ripgun and Slugger having their weapon names swapped during development.

Suggest changing message to a suitably fancy name, or just simply: - "You acquired some Ripgun bullets"

The Ripgun ammo is actually labeled as "Rip-Ups (tm)" in the built-in entity list, so I'll just go with that.

You're right about the ammo types being swapped during development: the model for the slugger ammo is models/e4/wa_rip, while the ripgun ammo model is models/e4/wa_slug.
