Can not find my current system or follow me

Log into Tripwire fine. Was working after the new api was introduced now it has no idea which system I'm currently in.

Have you tried deleting your CREST authentication and redoing it?

Using a different laptop I created a new login into tripwire using an alpha character, so a new api key, and although I could login I still saw the same problem. I can't see any way of bringing a faulty setting from one account / machine to another.

How do you delete CREST authentication? As far as I was aware CREST just did the authentication there was nothing to redo. As for the creating a new API key instance I can't see a way of removing the old api key / replacing the api inside tripwire.

I found the CREST piece you mentioned and found I hadn't authorized it, so it wanted to use the IGB instead. Authorized it and relogged and all okay. Thanks for the pointer.

Tripwire doesn't store your xml API at all. So ignore that for anything.

As far as CREST goes, if you click on your name in the upper right, does it show you as tracking via CREST? Does it ask you to authenticate CREST? If it says you're being tracked by CREST but you can't see yourself, then try to follow the link that says "Unauthorize CREST". Go there and delete anything that says tripwire, go back to tripwire and log out, wait ten minutes, log back in, and then click your name and click "authorize CREST".
