I cannot save tripwire's login information in the browser

Hello,

I cannot save tripwire's login information in both chrome and firefox on linux. I do not get asked if I want to save the login information.

However, I don't know if it is just me with all my browser plugins, but even if I start firefox in safe mode with "-safe-mode" on the command line, I do not get the dialog asking me if I want to save this information.

Is this by design? My password for tripwire is long, I do not want to memorize it. I do have a long passphrase set as a master password for the password storage in the browser.

Sorry - this is on purpose / by design. This is a topic of debate for web security gurus and most tend to agree a "remember me" function is safer then allowing the browser to insert credentials for a user. Also wormholers #tinfoilhat
