Autosave problem

Once i tried to make a few changes in the game options, i noticed, in every single cases, the game crashes after a couple of minutes. After alot of attempts, i discovered, that when i set autosave period to anything, but 0, crashes just stop happen. However, when i set it to 100, even the loading screen fails to appear, right after the next launching of the game. In this case, i have to change the value of autosave back to 0 in the config manually, for the successful gamestart, which i think is pretty weird.
