Initial game resolution

When begining a game on Linux, the resolution is higher than 1280x800. THis causes the window to be larger than the screen, and leaving the File menu unaccessible for quiting the game (restart to apply new resolution)

Perhaps detect current resolution or start with a lower one (1024x768 should be more standard )
