Console window

[FROM STEAM] Hi!

I hope you could help me cause I love this game, I used to play "Pharaon" many years ago, and now I got this one through Steam, but once I opened it to Play, it shows up like the attached picture, with an MS2 window, is that normal? What can I do? :c

I remember Pharaon used to get notifications in game, but now I get all that and messages on the black window, what did I do wrong? Thanks in advance
