Fire/health/building collapse issue

Issue #604 resolved

Hi,

So i started playing a map, laid out a city plan, and put sown dome residential zones. At this point two issues unfolded.

  1. before any migrants moved in to any housing squares the game gave me messages telling me that fire, health and building collapse had occured. eg. 'due to inadequate prevention measures, fires had started in the city'. I looked at the map, and (in each case) no buildings had collapsed; no health issues existed; and no fires had started. Indeed how could there be when there were no buildings and no population. At this point in the game I thought 'no worries just redundant game messages'. Though i was curious as to why the game was monitoring risk on squares that have nothing built.

  2. When migrants got to the house squares and started building tents I put down some prefectures, doctors and engineers posts. Within a minute, before any of the risk prevention posts became operational, fires started to break out everywhere.

This leads me to one conclusion. The game is assigning risk to squares that are residential squares with no house built. So the level of risk of fire was increasing on these square regardless that there was no built structure. So when a migrant did move in and built a tent a fire broke out almost immediately because the risk (at that point) was really high.

I assume this is occurring for building collapse and health risk as well. This is due to the messages for those risks, same as the fire risk message, before migrants had arrived (as explained in point 1).

I attached a screenshot.

Im running on mac osx 10.9.5, and i believe im up to date game version wise.

Kind Regards Adam

Unfortunately i don't think i have a saved version of that specific game. I didn't think that you would ask such a question.

I started a new game and the same issue occurred. Where do i find the saved file on my mac computer?

After running the game again twice, and finding out that the natives houses are burning, i think maybe my initial ideas were wrong. It seems that the plebs tents are gaining risk in a normal way. The problem is that the natives homes are gaining fire risk and then burning which then leads my prefects to go try save them with water. This then stops them looking after my Roman plebs tents.

ok, I tested it and you are definitely right, all the native tent are burning. Did that happen from the beginning of the game?
