Some settings are not remembered

Music volume is never saved anywhere, game speed is saved only in-game, but new game starts slow again.

Running the game updater reverts any custom settings!

Game speed value saved in save file. When you start new game this value will be reset to default.

Any ideas about???

I know that game speed is stored in save file. I have one idea for this - there could be Options button in the main menu, where you can set default volume/speed/other things without starting a scenario (maybe if you change resolution in this menu, it could change immediately?).

Hm, good idea that add settings dialog in main menu, like other modern game. In future Language dialog, may be transform to Settings fialog with all those options.

I think it's a good idea to have a Settings menu where you can put default game speed, resolution, scroll speed, etc. It always bugged me that I had to open a map to change these settings.
