Game not shutting down properly in Steam

I exit the game through the main screen and then go to quit Steam but it says that Caesaria is still running. I also tried to click play again and it says app is already running; however, I can't find where it is actually running! So in the end I have to force quit Steam.

I'm a Mac OSX user
