Game crashes when trying to visit the "Entertainment Adviser"

When trying to visit the "Entertainment Adviser" (on the second map) the game crashes, it crashes every time (i have not tried to start a new game). I'm attaching the "stdou.txt" with the error message.

Also, i can't seem to find the version of the game, but it is the latest version 20 Aug 2015.

Also, I'm running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (64 bit).
