black screen

I use Linux. When first entered the game, I changed the resolution to higher. The game went black and stayed like that. The computer did not freez - mouse can be seen and can be moved. I can't exit the game while black screen - had to restart the computer. From now on, each time I enter the game, I have black screen and can't to anything. Not event change the resolution.

Hey Anon. I have had same issue.

Workaround: Open the file settings.model in your CaesarIA install folder. mine is SteamInstalls/steamapps/common/CaesarIA/resources/settings.model

Change the line "fullscreen" : true , to "fullscreen" : false ,

and set resolution line to "resolution" : [ 1024, 768 ],

Save file and start the game. This should allow you to use the GUI to reset your screen Res to what you want.
